The Chapuis brothers, raised among the vineyards of Aloxe-Corton in Burgundy, founded their winery in 2008. After starting in a small cellar in Pommard, they established their own winery in Ladoix-Serrigny in 2009. Romain, a trained oenologist and former cellar master for Philippe Pacalet, gained experience across France, Lebanon, and New Zealand before returning to Burgundy. Today, the brothers farm around 4 hectares across several prestigious Côte de Beaune appellations and also source fruit from like-minded growers. Now in their third year of organic conversion, they hand-harvest all grapes, use only native yeasts, and add minimal sulfur only when necessary.
