The Winemaking

Grapes picked on the 25th March, from a cooler section of the vineyard. Destemmed, light pressing, all free run juice. Juice treated oxidatively. Fermented in SS with temperature control. 2 months on gross lees, 2 months on fine lees.

The Winery

Werkstatt combines a love of cool climate wines from Alsace to Austria, with a contemporary, collaborative ethos.

Bridget Mac trained and worked as an artist before making the move to winemaking, and has spent several vintages working with some of the finest winemakers in Australia and France. Werkstatt launched in 2022 with a single cool climate Riesling.
