Grapes are handpicked at red wine ripeness and varying amounts of maceration. Direct press petit verdot to reduce natural tennancy of colour, grenache some spends 3 days as destemmed, some 2 weeks as whole bunches, a sprinke of syrah. All wild yeast, mainly old oak, portion in tank. Always made with the intention of being chillable- picked riper, plusher. Antithesis of provence rose.

(He currently holds Sommelier’s Australia title of Australia’s Best Sommelier ) Chris has completed vintages in the Yarra Valley since 2016 and released his first vintage in 2020. The wines are inspired by the old world with a deep appreciation for the spirit and history of Australian wine. Seeking to make humble wines that make you feel a little bit better.
