The Winery

Agricola Punica is a prestigious Sardinian winery born from a dream team of Italian wine legends: the late, iconic consultant Giacomo Tachis, winemaker Sebastiano Rosa, Sardinian cooperative Cantina di Santadi, and Tenuta San Guido (makers of Sassicaia), with leadership from Santadi President Antonello Pilloni. Their vision, driven by Tachis, was to unlock Sardinia's potential, especially for the native Carignano grape, creating "Super Sardinian" wines like Barrua and Montessu from their estates in the Sulcis region.
